Summary of Key Points
Before diving into the details, here is a quick overview of what you will find in these Terms of Service:
- Our Service: We provide durable medical equipment, healthcare supplies, insurance verification, billing assistance, and prescription fulfillment. We are a supplier, not a medical provider — always consult your doctor for medical advice.
- Your Obligations: You must provide accurate information, especially regarding your prescriptions and insurance, and keep your account credentials secure.
- Payments: We process both direct-pay and insurance-covered purchases. You are responsible for any copays, deductibles, or non-covered costs.
- Liability: We provide our platform and services "as is." Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Disputes: We prefer to resolve issues informally. If we cannot, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, waiving the right to class action lawsuits.
- Termination: You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violating these terms or engaging in fraudulent activity.
- Contact: You can reach our support team anytime at support@aamedsupplies.com.
1. Welcome & Agreement
Welcome to AA Medical Supply. We are glad you have chosen us as your trusted partner for durable medical equipment and healthcare supplies.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") act as a legally binding agreement between you and AA Medical Supply Inc. (“AA Medical Supply,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website at aamedsupplies.com, creating an account, or purchasing our products and services, you agree to follow these rules. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
If you have any questions about this document or how our services work, please reach out to us at support@aamedsupplies.com.
2. About Our Service
What We Do
AA Medical Supply provides patients with durable medical equipment (DME) and medical supplies. To make your experience as seamless as possible, we also offer insurance verification, billing assistance, prescription-related order fulfillment, recurring supply services, and direct delivery to your door. We serve customers through both insurance-covered claims and direct-pay purchases.
Not Medical Advice
While we provide medical equipment and supplies, we do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment plans. Our customer support team can help you understand how to use a product, but they cannot tell you which product is medically appropriate for your specific health condition. Always consult with your physician or a qualified healthcare provider regarding your medical needs.
Eligibility
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. If you are ordering supplies on behalf of a minor or another adult, you represent that you have the legal authority to do so and to bind them to these Terms.
3. Your Account
Registration and Accuracy
To process your orders, verify insurance, and fulfill prescriptions, you will need to create an account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information. Because we deal with healthcare supplies and insurance billing, providing false information can lead to denied claims, delayed shipments, or legal consequences.
Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your account password secure. Do not share your login credentials with anyone outside of your authorized caregivers. If you suspect someone has gained unauthorized access to your account, please notify us immediately so we can protect your information.
Account Termination
You have the right to stop using our services and close your account at any time. Simply contact our support team to initiate the process.
4. Acceptable Use
We want our platform to be safe and efficient for everyone. When using our website and services, you agree to act responsibly.
What You Can Do
You are encouraged to use our platform to browse products, manage your recurring supply orders, upload necessary prescription or insurance documentation, and communicate with our support team.
What Is Prohibited
To protect our business and our customers, the following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Submitting fraudulent, altered, or expired prescriptions.
- Providing false insurance information or attempting to commit insurance fraud.
- Reselling medical equipment or supplies purchased through our service without authorization.
- Using our website for any illegal purpose or in violation of local, state, or federal laws.
- Harassing, abusing, or threatening our customer support staff.
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise the security of our website or systems.
Consequences of Violations
If we determine that you have violated these acceptable use rules, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, cancel pending orders, and, if necessary, report fraudulent activity to law enforcement or your insurance provider.
5. Content & Intellectual Property
Our Ownership
Everything you see on aamedsupplies.com — including our logos, website design, text, graphics, and software — is owned by AA Medical Supply or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our website for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without our written permission.
Your Content
When you provide documents to us (such as prescriptions or insurance cards), you retain ownership of that information. By providing it, you grant us the necessary permissions to use, store, and share this information with your healthcare providers and insurance companies strictly for the purpose of fulfilling your orders and processing your billing.
6. Payments & Billing
Pricing and Insurance
We offer products through both direct-pay and insurance-covered options. If you use insurance, we will assist with verification and billing. However, insurance coverage is never guaranteed. You are ultimately responsible for any copayments, deductibles, coinsurance, or costs for items your insurance provider declines to cover. Because most of our products are billed to insurance, pricing is confirmed with you by phone before any payment is taken.
Recurring Supply Services
If you enroll in our recurring supply service, you authorize us to ship your supplies on the agreed-upon schedule and to bill your insurance or payment method on file as applicable. You can modify, pause, or cancel your recurring orders at any time by contacting customer support before your next cycle processes.
Refunds and Returns
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, with your receipt, for unopened and unused items in resellable condition.
Due to strict health, hygiene, and FDA regulations surrounding medical equipment and supplies, certain items cannot be returned once delivered, including compression stockings, wound care, blood glucose supplies, urological and ostomy supplies, bath benches, raised toilet seats, commodes, and custom or made-to-order items. We will clearly indicate which items are non-returnable before you order.
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us promptly so we can arrange a replacement or an appropriate refund — the 30-day window and the exclusions above do not limit your remedy in that case.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is incredibly important to us, especially given the sensitive nature of healthcare information. We handle your personal and health information in accordance with applicable laws, including HIPAA and US State Privacy Laws like the CCPA/CPRA.
Our data collection, storage, and sharing practices are detailed comprehensively in our Privacy Policy, and our handling of Protected Health Information is described in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. By agreeing to these Terms, you also acknowledge that you have read and understand our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers & Limitations
Service "As Is"
We work hard to ensure our website runs smoothly and our inventory is accurate. However, we provide our website and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that our website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely secure.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AA Medical Supply shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, delays in shipping, insurance claim denials, or the misuse of medical equipment. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consumer claims, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
9. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution First
If you have an issue with our service, a product, or your billing, please contact us first. We pride ourselves on customer support and want the opportunity to make things right informally.
Binding Arbitration
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and AA Medical Supply agree to resolve any claims related to these Terms or our services through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court. Arbitration is a less formal process that uses a neutral arbitrator instead of a judge or jury.
Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Small Claims Exception
Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if the claim qualifies.
10. Changes & Termination
Modifying These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business operations, new legal requirements, or improvements to our services. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, sending an email or posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after these changes take effect constitutes your agreement to the new Terms.
Our Right to Terminate
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent behavior, or if we are required to do so by law.
11. General Legal
Governing Law
These Terms and your use of our services shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute not subject to arbitration shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Macomb County, Michigan.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court or arbitrator, that specific provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AA Medical Supply regarding your use of our services, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
12. Contact Information

13. Data Export and Deletion on Termination
If your account is terminated — whether by you or by us — you will have a 30-day window from the date of termination to request and retrieve your standard account data. Upon request, we will provide this data to you in a standard, commercially readable format.
Once this 30-day window expires, your standard account data will be permanently and securely deleted from our active systems. Please note, however, that as a healthcare supplier, we are legally required under HIPAA and other applicable healthcare and tax laws to retain specific medical, prescription, and billing records for designated statutory periods. Those specific records will be retained securely for the legally required duration and permanently deleted once those mandatory retention periods expire.
